My love of Art started with my lovely Art teacher at school.  A church school, where most of the teachers were Nuns.  My Art teacher was doing enough to arrive with long blonde hair, flowing clothes and wished to be called Diana (very unusual in the forties).
I entered through my school, the Royal Academy children's exams, Art and passed with honours.
My father loved painting and encouraged me. I married and moved to Washington DC. There, I attended the Corcoran Art school, but became ill unfortunately. Then I moved to Seattle where the countryside was very inspiring, but the children took over.   I later moved to Wales, where the beauty of the Welsh hills inspired me and Julian, my husband, who attended Leeds College of Art and  who encourages me.
