Picture
Deb L Bunker is an artist living and working in Radnorshire and, after working in many mediums, has concentrated on oil painting for the last couple of years finding the slower process more in keeping with the direction her work is taking. Her aim is to provoke a feeling of connection between viewer and subject and encourage them to slow down and look closer at their natural environment. Having spent years working as a natural history illustrator she now prefers to work in larger, more direct brush stroked, focusing more on light than on form and making every brush stroke count.
